North Texas rain comes down hard and fast. When the Fort Worth weather service office puts out a flood warning, streets pond, yards can't drain quick enough, and the water finds the low spot at your front door, the garage, or a floor drain that can't keep up. It doesn't take a river. A couple of inches across a living room is enough to ruin the pad and soak the bottom of every wall in the room.

Water Under the Door
You see it first at the threshold. Then it's under the couch and down the hall. Flood water comes in dirty, carrying whatever it crossed in the yard and the street on the way in, so everything it touched gets cleaned or removed. We pull the water, take up what has to come up, and dry the slab and the bottom plates. Door jambs get checked too, because they wick.
Floor Drains
Some houses take water from the drain itself when the line outside is overloaded. That water isn't clean either. We treat the floor, the drain area and anything it reached, then run the drying equipment until the readings come down.
